We celebrated Grandpa and Grandma Huntsman's birthday - Grandpa turned 50!- by going to see his horses. We went in the evening and learned a little about foxtrotters. We also enjoyed yummy taco salad, hot chocolate and even rode the horses. Henry did not ride the horses, in fact he sat in his car seat most of the time squawking and then fell asleep in mommy's arms. Everyone over the age of 1.5 years old did take a ride. The horse I rode was very nice even though I was really scared to ride it. Grandpa was nice to me and stayed near by and gave me encouraging smiles. Since we were in an arena at night, the lighting was super weird but here are a few pictures.

you are brave. i hate my in-law's damn horses. they are all huge and last year one of the brothers was riding with nephews and something happened and they called me to come take 2 of the horses and walk them back to the barn while they chased down another who'd run... the things were pulling me so hard i finally was like, eff that. and i just let them go. one ran to the barn and the other ran a couple miles down the state line. i wish it had gotten away, i hate those animals. way to be an equestrian!
