We had the wonderful joy of meeting up with mom's college friends at the Discovery park in Pleasant Grove. Andrea and her two kiddos were visiting from Texas, Becca with her 3 kiddos came down from Draper, and Nicole with her 3 kids came for Pleasant Grove. Comparatively, we have been very reproductive. Henry loved discovering the park. He's still a little unsteady with his leg but that doesn't stop his will to figure stuff out. After a good amount of play in the sun, the boys were ready for a snack. We knew it was really time to head home when a school bus or two unloaded and big kids came pouring into the park. Aunt Jordan came to see Henry as well since we were just up the street from her house. Next time we should take a picture of all of us together!
After naps and work for the husbands, we met at Nicole's for dinner. Unfortunatly the Blacks' couldn't join us for dinner (the one time I remembered my camera).
This weather is perfect for being outside until all hours of the night. Nicole's backyard is like a huge park and all the neighborhood kids roam free getting into each other's business.
Our kids even decided to invite themselves over to someone else's FHE... We girls chose to watch from the patio and appreciate the good neighbors keeping things right in the world.
Henry and Nolan are 6 months apart and had there hilarious moments. Henry loved playing peek-a-boo through the door. Nolan loved laughing and then shutting the door. If only we lived closer!
We gave the kids popciles and set them on the swing to get sticky. Not one picture I took is perfect but this is life with little kids! We didn't feel the need to get Brynn out of bed for the picture...
The boys face in this one just cracks me up!
In 6 months it will be our 10 year anniversary of meeting and becoming best friends through all of life's adventures.
