Week 16 - Walking

Our winter has been very mild this year and I have been very happy about it. When people complain about the lack of snow in the valleys I want to lose my mind and complain about their complaining. I'm all for snow in the mountains- go visit the snow if you want to ski and have it for snow pack. However I don't see the point of snow at my house so I'm glad it has stayed away. Now that I'm done ranting...sorry! It was a beautiful Saturday morning so we got out the Snugi carrier and went for a walk around our neighborhood. Henry loved it! Matt wanted Henry to ride on his back but according to the instructions Henry isn't old enough for that quite yet.

It was so sunny outside but still in the 50's. We promptly went back inside and got a hat and blanket for Henry just to be safe. Henry held on to the carrier straps the entire ride while smiling and squinting.

In our driveway, Henry didn't know what to think of the wind.

Now we are really ready!

It was fun to be outside and with my little family. Throughout our dating and marriage Matt and I have enjoyed going on walks in the evening or Saturday mornings. It was so nice to do it again. We talked a lot- something I can never get enough of- and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
