Week 37 - Ear Infection

We sent this week recovering from our vacation to Seattle and working on the house. Henry and I did a lot of weeding and playing with our neighbors. We also spent a lot of time sad that we were home alone with out all of our fun cousins and aunts and uncles. Luckily we had some neighbors invite us over for a play group that was really fun and a break from the HOT weather.

On Wednesday the 11th, after a very LONG and wakeful night I took Henry into the pediatricians office because he had a cold and would not sleep no matter what I did. Turns out he had ear infections, most likely double based on his screaming every time the doctor looked in his ear but hard to confirm due to the LARGE amount of wax. So after scraping out one ear to confirm an ear infection and peaking at the other one, we headed to the pharmacy. Henry improved greatly after some Motrin and Amoxicillin. Thank you MODERN MEDICINE!

I had to take a picture of Henry finally asleep. Plus he is a cute sleeper.

BTW this is exactly how I sleep, Matt and I laughed our heads off when we saw him.
