Week 40 - International Peace Gardens

We headed to the International Peace Gardens in Salt Lake City for a fun summer adventure with Grandma and Aunt Jess and the boy cousins. It was a warm day but the park was well shaded and there was a nice breeze. We saw a lot of different flowers, statues, trees, and arrangements. It gave mom lots of ideas on how to better beautify our yard.

Having a little break at the end of our walk.

Stets and Henry, love these blue eyed blondies

Henry's classic lean. If you could see how high his foot is up on the tray you would laugh.

Jake chilling in the stroller. He is seriously so calm and quiet. Henry was never quiet.

We forgot to take pictures of the actual gardens so Grandma and Stets went back to capture a few. Here is there little journey:
The entrance to the gardens

America with the Matterhorn in the back

Matterhorn and oblesik

Stets by the mermaid. No water in the pond sadly

Japan

Brazil or Argentina? Can't remember sorry

Vietnam

Grandma went to this park a lot as a child because it is located right next door to her Grandpa Sidney and Grandma Jeanie's house. She had lots of fun memories to share from her childhood. It was really fun to see how nice the park is after all these years. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at the end and then helped a little boy find his mommy.
