12/24/12 - Christmas Eve (Party 3)

We spent Christmas Eve morning at home running around trying to get ready to go out of town. We needed to pack for Heber City and Seattle. Additionally, I like to clean my house a little before we go so that we don't come home to a disaster. Too bad there wasn't time for cleaning this go around... We left just around noon to head for Heber City to spend the night. It had really started to snow just as we left, so I chose to read a book rather than watch the road.

In Heber, we had a lot of fun with our family. Grandma Evelyn came to stay for a few days, Jess and Andy came for the evening as well as Becca and Brandon. There was lots of yummy food to eat and new toys to play with. Henry's favorite toy was Cheyenne the horse.

He was by no means steady on his own accord but loved to ride it all the same.

Another favorite activity was playing with cousins. Henry loved Jake being in the exersaucer (much more than Henry enjoys being inside) and playing around the outside

The big exercise ball was also a huge favorite

Henry sat in the high chair that has been around since Grandma Evelyn was a wee lass.

Present time was also tons of fun! Henry got some great books and toys, Matt and I get to go out on a date, Matt got new tools to fix anything, and I can now finally serve food in something other than the pan it was cooked in. Santa was generous this year.

The babies were more than tired by the end of the night but they didn't want to miss out on any of the fun. We loved the time we with all of our family together that evening. With all our busy schedules it is a miracle we can find anytime to be all together. It is such a blessing to have loving family who wants to be together.
