Week 2 - Out of Town Visitors

On November 9th my Mom, Shannon, Paisley, and Delaynie came to visit us. I felt so loved to have them come all they way from Seattle to stay in my crazy house. Lucky for them we purchased a bed the Saturday before Henry was born and set-up our guest bedroom. Unlucky for them there wasn't any carpet in the hall on their way to their room.

Paisley and Delaynie had so much fun holding their cousin. Paisley gave Baby Henry her pacifiers when she arrived and always made sure Henry had a paci close by. Delaynie would say "baby" and "milk" everytime Henry cried and would look at me like "hello this is your baby and he wants some milk!" She is already a good little mama. Paisley also read "Goodnight Pookie" to Henry every night to help him fall asleep. She is such a sweet girl.

Jordan brought toys for Paisley and Delaynie to play with which was a life saver- seeing as the only toys I had was a mobile not yet hocked to the grib and a robot stuffed animal from Aunt Kellie.

We went on a few adventures to Ogden to see our grandmas and family members. Henry slept great in the van. Somehow we fit 3 car seats and 4 adults in the van relatively comfortably. On one of our adventures to Brigham City we got together with my Aunt and her kids to celebrate my mom's birthday! I felt so lucky to have her visiting on her birthday.

Shannon taught me the art of swaddling- she knows her stuff! It is so nice to have a sister who already has two babies, she can teach me tips and tricks. Henry loved the way Shannon swaddled him and fell right asleep. Shannon also built Henry's bouncer and organized his clothes. If she hadn't come I think the bouncer would still be in the box and clothes would still be in bags all over the room.
