Week 8/9 - Christmas in Washington

Our next holiday travel was to hop on an air plane at 6:45 AM and fly to Seattle. Lucky for us we live about 15 minutes from the airport so we didn't have to get up too early. Henry got up at 4:30 to eat and I just didn't go back to sleep.

Ready to go! There were plenty of extra seats so we brought the car seat on board. Henry slept almost the entire plane ride. He woke up to eat right before we started the descent which was perfect.

Henry getting to meet Papa for the first time. It was so cute to see my parents anxiously waiting for us to come through the gate. We felt so loved that they would come all the way in to get us. Henry started out in the car seat but Papa needed to hold and love his grandson.

Henry quickly learned about the joys of girl cousins- Barbies!!! Paisley brought a Ken doll for Baby Henry to play with- so thoughtful! As you can see Henry was thrilled into sleep.

Delaynie giving loves.

Tummy time on a comfy mat from Aunt Shannon. Henry LOVES the mirror and pillow.

It is hard work having tummy time!

The Man Cave enjoying a nap. Sleepy babies are contagious.

Uncle Mark and Henry

Henry and Boden- Boden is 9 days older and already sleeps 11 hours at night! Henry's max is 5 hours at this point. Boden has cute chubby legs that made Henry's look like chicken legs. Don't mind Henry's unbuttoned pants, he is a growing boy.

The original Graves' family. This picture feels pretty empty now that we have grown to 13.

Uncle Austin and Delaynie- she can say Austin perfectly!

Matt and Paisley were having some pretty intense wolf training. Paisley came up with the idea and Matt kept here on a tight schedule with few potty and snack breaks. These two have a fun imagination together.

Kellie made cute stockings for everyone. I wanted a picture with Henry and his stocking but I accidentally ate it right after I had the picture idea... it was delicious!

Grammy, Henry, and Delaynie. Delaynie is a born mama.

Getting changed for bed time by Aunt Kellie includes some fun. Henry hasn't reacted to raspberries on his tummy yet but some day... Kellie is so loving and sweet to her nephew and nieces.

I LOVE this one! There aren't words for the love and fun these ones will have together.

Eskimo kisses turning into real baby kisses

Uncle Jeremiah and Henry

Papa and Grammy with ALL their grandkids. I wonder how many more kiddos we'll fit in this picture in the next decade.

Everyone watching as Papa prepares his soda geyser. As you can tell we are used to standing back for fireworks and didn't know what to expect

We can't wait to see the explosion!

Henry loved being outside and looking at the overcast sky and trees that surround Grammy and Papa's house.

The GEYSER

On our way to the airport we stopped to see baby Luke. Henry is 12 days older than Luke but not that much bigger. Henry had been sleeping in his car seat and didn't want to wake up for the photo shoot.

As part of our Christmas in Washington we went to the Great Wolf Lodge (inspiration for Paisley's wolf training) those pictures to come soon!
