11/23/12 - First Steps

Tonight you took your first two independent steps. Of course we didn't have the camera out! We were home and had just finished bath time. You were in your jammies and my shirt was soaking because that is what baths do to mom. I was holding your fingers and then helped you let go as you walked towards Daddy. Dad had the new ball from Aunt Jordan held above his head. Your hands were reaching up for the ball and you were giggling as you took two steps right into dad's waiting arms. I couldn't see your face but I could see the glow of pride and joy on your Daddy's face! We looked like that statue you see at the Seattle temple of the walking baby (see here). I love you and you are growing up so fast!
