Saturday was an adventurous outside day at our house. We went on a stroller ride, rode bikes (who knew I had 3 bikes for kids?), and played with friends. It was awesome! It was a bit windy but we'll take wind with sunshine any day. I'm not looking forward to the endless baking heat of summer without cool wind.
After nap time we spent some time reading with Dad. Henry loves to pick out books and then come sit on your lap (which means standing on your legs then practically falling off as he turns around to sit, we need to teach him the art of backing up) to read them and then put the book back. Don't mind that the book in the 3rd pic is upside-down, it teaches new perspective :/
Henry's love for being with mom continues whereever we are, even the the point of climbing a rocking foot stool to be with me. Impressive huh?
Henry then begged to go outside by bringing me my vest and requesting that I put it on. It was hilarious to me for some reason. Everytime I took it off he CRIED and cried. So Henry wore my vest and looked like a space king. So we went outside again for more walking and leg holding as mentioned previously.
We topped our evening off by returning this exersaucer to Matt's Uncle Jon and Aunt Cherri. Look how much Henry has grown since first taking a spin!
While at the Bowen's home, Henry decided to stick his head between the stair rails. At first I laughed thinking that his head might get stuck, then I screamed when I realized his head really was stuck! Visions of Full House, Mary Kate adn Ashley Olsen, and Country Crock flashed through my mind. Lucky for Henry, Jon and Matt are calm when the pressure is on. With some tricky manuevering. including horizontal planking and ear folding, Henry was free! After which we all had a good cry laugh. This boy is becoming more adventurous every day.
