Today Dad stayed home from work because he was sick. But not sick enough to stop working. So off to the basement Dad went to take care of business. Our house has a few oddities, one of which is that the vents upstairs and downstairs are aligned perfectly. This provides for some interesting things, like downstairs in the room beneath Henry's there was some visible dried liquid on the vent and wall when we moved in. Who knows? Another thing is that the vents serve as amazing communication between the two floors of our house. Today, Henry realized this amazing ability of the vents. He spent a good portion of the morning yelling "DAD DADA DAD DADA!" down the vent. Of course Dad responded by yelling "Henry" and barking like a dog. Laughter on both floors of the house. Repeat. Here's a view of the downstairs from the upstairs vent:
Another thing you started to do today is stand on your casted leg. Your cast makes you an inch or two taller so the view is totally different when standing on that leg. Turns out that couple inches also provides the opportunity to climb into your crib:
Notice that it isn't even 9 AM yet and you are already being trouble-adventure-boy!
The rest of the day was spent keeping you from finding your way downstairs to bug dad, trying to get you to eat (you don't eat anymore), and changing your clothes numerous times. The evening was spent playing the Thomas on the bed, tickling Dad, and reading books.
