4/17/13 - Rough

The last few days have been rough and exhausting for all of us. You've got some bug or teething or something that is making you CRANKY. In the mornings you are very particular and want to snuggle with me on the rocking chair, not lying in my bed. You don't really want to nurse or drink milk from a cup. You don't want to eat very much and do not like being offered food. You do not want dad to pick you up or hold you unless he is throwing you in the air and putting on a show. You don't want to play with toys by yourself or have me out of your sight. Needless to say mom is getting a little bit cranky too! For a couple hours today you slept on me like a little baby. The first picture is from the morning and the second in the afternoon, only difference is your paci. You were a hot little heater with a temperature and runny eyes. Between your eyes running, your nose running, and endless drool; I was soaked by the end of your naps. I do enjoy these quiet moments of holding you and comforting you. I'm grateful that you are healthy and happy most of the time and that this behavior is a strange occurrence. I only wish I had a good book to be reading while holding you. Rather I spent lots of time thinking. Here's to hoping you get better ASAP!
