In the morning I make green smoothies to go along with our breakfast. I have found it to be a fast, easy breakfast that involves fruits and veggies. Turns out Henry loves green smoothies and ends up drinking most of mine every morning. Most days its banana, strawberry, orange juice, and kale/spinach.
Post cast day 2 and you are stepping on precarious things. I really hope we don't need another cast in the near future. I'm watching you closely because I hear toddlers free of leg casts often equals stitches to quickly follow.
We found a really fun birthday present for dad on Amazon and couldn't resist ordering it and then setting it up and using it as soon as it arrived. Even though it is 2 weeks early we love it! Landmann Fireball! This fire pit can be completely enclosed which keeps some of the sparks in and little kids out. Obviously the metal can get hot, but at least no one will fall into the fire. We made a few s'mores and enjoyed a small fire. Can't wait for our first backyard party! Henry really liked watching the fire but didn't ever try going close. We warned him repeatedly that it was hot and ouchy. He was way more interested in climbing on the chairs then getting close to the fire. We also tried giving you a marsh mellow, but since you have only ever had mini marsh mellows you didn't know what to think. Since it came out of the thing we kept telling him was hot, he would "blow" on it every time we tried sharing. Too bad Henry is still mastering blowing and got really wet!
