Some of Henry's friend's mom decided to get witchy and attend Witchapalooza at Gardner Village. It was a yummy dinner, hilarious show, and lots of fun for a girls night out.
The next day was a Halloween party at Daddy's work where Henry dressed up as BAM-BAM from the Flintstones. Those pictures are on Matt's camera so will be coming soon!
After the work party we headed home to check on our witches brew, I mean chili... We had our ward's Trunk-or-treat that evening followed by a soup and chili dinner. Having never made chili previously I was quite surprised with how delicious ours turned out. As with every ward party, some foods were delicious and safer than others. I'm a firm believer in "know who's kitchen your food came from."
As we did not have anything to decorate our trunk with except a bowl of candy, we decided to put Henry in it and act like our trunk was the Zoo. Henry loved exploring a new place.
For the trunk or treat he was a monkey, with matching mittens to keep him warm. It was a COLD night!
CANDY!
Matt went as a mail man, he is always so creative. You can call him Newman.
I went as a green pirate witch...
Henry got a little cold so spent ample time sitting with daddy.
There was along line for soup so we waited, and waited, and waited. Luckily Janilee thought of grabbing some rolls. And Matt provided entertainment...
Jordy is a 80's dancer, Janilee is an 80's beauty
Isaac is a mad scientist with Matt the mailman
Bryn was Mrs. Mint from Candyland.
We had a fun and wonderful time eating soup and keeping the mess of four children slightly under control. We can't wait for Halloween!!!
